Dorothy L. Schrank, age 95, of Reedsburg, died peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2020 in her home. She was born on January 29, 1925 in Reedsburg, the daughter of Earl and Alma (Selden) Fish. Dorothy was a 1943 graduate of Reedsburg High School. On September 20, 1958, she was married to Arnold F. Schrank. She worked in the Hercules Laboratory at the Badger Army Ammunition Plant. Dorothy later worked as a teller at The Reedsburg Bank until she chose to stay home and raise her family. She was a faithful member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Dorothy enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing cards.
Survivors include her husband: Arnold; two sons: Todd (Penny) Schrank, of Reedsburg and Gary Schrank, of Reedsburg; two grandsons: Joshua (Jessica) Fleming, of Reedsburg and Cody Schrank, of Arkansas; three great-grandchildren: Trinidy Fleming, Lileyanne Fleming and Oliver Schrank; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson: Gunner Fleming in 2017; one brother: Donald Fish, and two sisters: Irene Alexander and Ruth Lake.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Reedsburg with Pastor Paul Crolius officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
