Gloria Jean Roohr-Hyzer, 70, passed away peacefully Monday, July 18, 2022, at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. Gloria Jean was born March 24, 1952, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Gloria was born to her mother, Doris Lee. She was the second eldest child of six.
Gloria was a dedicated Veteran of the United States Army. Upon completing her tenure with the Army, she pursued her dream of entrepreneurship. She would later find her passion in Naturopathic Medicine. Gloria would go on to earn her degree in Naturopathic Medicine, becoming a Naturopathic Doctor. She spent her life using her knowledge to help countless people by using natural remedies and medicines. Gloria was an avid gardener, a fantastic cook, an animal lover, and also enjoyed genealogy.
Gloria is survived by her husband, Gary Roohr-Hyzer, 69, Reedsburg; son, Drew Hyzer, 47, Lodi, Wisconsin; daughter, Gabrielle Palma, 46, Killeen, Texas, daughter, Amy Fehlauer, 45, Kaukauna, Wisconsin, and Salina Lang, 39, Centuria, Wisconsin. Gloria is also survived by her five beloved grandchildren, Ashleigh, 21, Emily, 20, Ella, 19, Landon, 8, and Lincoln, 5. She was preceded in death by two of her five siblings, as well as her mother, Doris.
The Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 12-5 P.M. at S3865 Thieman Hill Road; Reedsburg, WI 53959. In lieu of flowers, Gloria’s family humbly requests donations be made to the Agrace Foundation in honor/memory of Gloria J. Roohr-Hyzer.
